At Wheels of Love, we believe that reliable transportation transforms lives. Our vehicle donation program provides free, donated cars—or assistance with auto parts and repair labor—to New Mexico families in need. We help hardworking individuals who are striving to rebuild their lives after financial hardship, job loss, or other difficult circumstances.
Many local families face serious challenges because they lack dependable transportation. Without a vehicle, it becomes harder to find steady employment, attend school, reach medical appointments, or take care of family responsibilities. Wheels of Love exists to bridge that gap—offering hope, independence, and stability through community-powered car donations and repair support.
This is a 100% donation-based nonprofit organization. Every car, part, and dollar we receive goes directly back into helping families across New Mexico. While we wish we could assist everyone who applies, our ability to help depends entirely on the availability of funding and donated vehicles. When resources become available, we review applications submitted within the past six months to identify those in the greatest need.
Submitting an application does not guarantee immediate assistance, but it ensures you’re considered when we have resources available. Every contribution to Wheels of Love—whether a vehicle donation, monetary gift, or volunteer service—directly helps a local family gain safe, reliable transportation and move one step closer to independence.
HOW YOU CAN HELP
• Monetary donations to pay for parts.
• Are you a mechanic and would like to volunteer your time and diagnose vehicles and do work on them (you decide how often)?
• Families who have cars that need a little work or cars that are just sitting on their property can donate these vehicles to Wheels of Love.
• Having trouble selling your car/truck/van? Donate it to Wheels of Love and we will place it with a family who needs it!
